What I like and dislike and how to deal with them


English
     Nowadays, more and more people learn English. We can use English to go travel around the world. When we try to talk with foreigners, we always use English in the beginning. In Taiwan, we start to learn English when we are little. Learning English is important for us.
     I began learning English in kindergarten, and I also went to cram school. My teachers usually use fun ways to teach me. This is also the reason why I like to learn English. It is excited that I can use English to chat and talk about daily life, and I can no longer only speak Chinese. I am proud of myself that I can talk fluently with foreigners in English. In the first time, I told a foreigner where the bus station is. When I grew up and learn more English, I can teach foreigners Chinese and talk about more topics.
     After learning English for so many years, my English skills are no longer better than everyone. There are also many difficult pieces of knowledge that need to learn. Sometimes, I will misuse the words and make jokes. The most serious part is that I can not improve my English to the best and get Gold Certificate of TOEIC. My English seems to stop at that level.
     English is in our daily life. I need to be positive about learning it and trying to learn English when I see it. The most important thing is to dare to speak. I love English, and English will love me, too.

    I agree with you that "The most important thing is to dare to speak." As long as plucking up the courage to try it, it will gradually move on. :))

    I met the same question as you, but now I'm trying to improve my English and make it better than the age I was in junior high school. It is working now. Hope you can keep loving English and never give up.

My Favorite English Book

Hunger games       My favorite English book is "Hunger Games". I had read the whole series. The reason that I like these books because the plots are very exciting. I considered that the author was writing about the situations in this society. There are twelve districts in their country. The Capital holds Hunger Games every year. Every child might be sent to attend and there must be one winner. They have to kill each other in order to live. Some districts are poorer than other, so they have fewer sources to easily win the game. This is similar to the current situations. Some countries are very rich while others are not. The former keeps bullying and exploiting the latter. In the story, the Capital controls every city to prevent them overthrow the Capital. At last, it is no use. My writing experience

     I am poor at writing skills because I don't get any training on it and the environment. People in Taiwan usually listen and read more often while we seldom practice writing.      My first time of writing can trace back to elementary school when I studied in cram school. I was preparing for GEPT, but actually, I don't know what I was writing. I just write anything that comes up with my mind, so my scores of writing are the lowest of four parts.      After that, I learn how to write formal articles in senior high school, and this is for the college entrance exam. English teacher started to teach us some tips. We started to know how to organize the information in the right paragraph. At that time, I memorized many typical types and idioms.
