YZU Tree God

     There is a library in the building five in our school. Most the students like to go to the library when they have break times or go to study. Especially before the exam, there are always full of the students.
     If you have been to the library, there is a tree in the middle of the library. Let me tell you why it is there, but you need to keep it a secret. There was a forest at the site of YZU. The engineers need to cut off all the trees, and it is successful at the beginning. When they started to build the building 5, a tree started to grow after the day tree was cut. That tree grew very quickly and as large as before. After a whole day, the tree became the same height as before. Some of the engineers tried to cut it down, but it grew up and taller the next day. All of them get sicked. No one has any idea to deal with it.
     All of the engineers were shocked by this situations, so they went to the temple of Land God(土地公). They ask the god how to deal with that tree. The god said that there is his second house! No wonder the engineers got sick. They tried to save the tree and let it grow. In order to show the respect, they set the tree in the middle of the library. There is also the transparent ceiling for letting sunshine comes in. Nowadays, this tree protects all of the students and give the library excellent air.

    Thank you to tell me this secret, and let me tell you something, maybe those engineer didn't dig deep enough to let the whole tree comes out, maybe next time, they can try not just cut the tree, but try dig deeper and pull the whole tree out.

Hunger games       My favorite English book is "Hunger Games". I had read the whole series. The reason that I like these books because the plots are very exciting. I considered that the author was writing about the situations in this society. There are twelve districts in their country. The Capital holds Hunger Games every year. Some districts are poorer than other, so they have fewer sources to easily win the game. This is similar to the current situations. Some countries are very rich while others are not. My writing experience

     I am poor at writing skills because I don't get any training on it and the environment. People in Taiwan usually listen and read more often while we seldom practice writing.      My first time of writing can trace back to elementary school when I studied in cram school. I was preparing for GEPT, but actually, I don't know what I was writing. I just write anything that comes up with my mind, so my scores of writing are the lowest of four parts.      After that, I learn how to write formal articles in senior high school, and this is for the college entrance exam. English teacher started to teach us some tips. We started to know how to organize the information in the right paragraph. At that time, I memorized many typical types and idioms.
