Memories about Christmas

     It is always very exciting that it comes to Christmas because the New Year and Chinese New Year are around the corner. We can have much happy time in these weeks.
     I always feel that people like to celebrate Christmas the most. There are many decorations and songs for Christmas. There are many Christmas tree and red decoration put in many places and classrooms. Until now, there are concerts and markets for this festival especially in New Taipei City. People like to celebrate it so much.
     In my childhood, children always get some candy and candy cane from teachers. We can put the Christmas socks and wish for the gifts while I always not believe at all. I believe that maybe it is possible that Santa Claus is coming when I first listen to this story. After I have some pocket money, I have the exchange gift parties with my friends. I have attend to change good gift and bad gift. Bad thing is very interesting because we have to give not so good but not too bad present. We also like to write many cards to give friends and teachers.
      In these recent years of Christmas, I found that it is more important to celebrate with family and close friends than playing all day. It is also a warm time to find old friends to have a meal. Christmas for me is no longer receiving and giving gifts, it is a sharing love day.

    I love the Christmas decoration on the street too. It is very beautiful. I think you can go Hong Kong to see the night view in Christmas, the decoration light is very good. Many people go there to take picture. Change good and bad gift id the most exiting event in Christmas, I did that before, it was very funny and interesting.

My Favorite English Book

Hunger games       My favorite English book is "Hunger Games". I had read the whole series. The reason that I like these books because the plots are very exciting. I considered that the author was writing about the situations in this society. There are twelve districts in their country. The Capital holds Hunger Games every year. Every child might be sent to attend and there must be one winner. They have to kill each other in order to live. Some districts are poorer than other, so they have fewer sources to easily win the game. This is similar to the current situations. Some countries are very rich while others are not. The former keeps bullying and exploiting the latter. In the story, the Capital controls every city to prevent them overthrow the Capital. At last, it is no use. My writing experience

     I am poor at writing skills because I don't get any training on it and the environment. People in Taiwan usually listen and read more often while we seldom practice writing.      My first time of writing can trace back to elementary school when I studied in cram school. I was preparing for GEPT, but actually, I don't know what I was writing. I just write anything that comes up with my mind, so my scores of writing are the lowest of four parts.      After that, I learn how to write formal articles in senior high school, and this is for the college entrance exam. English teacher started to teach us some tips. We started to know how to organize the information in the right paragraph. At that time, I memorized many typical types and idioms.
